The Rossdale Community League Bylaws approved at the 2019 Annual General Meeting are available for download below.


The Objects of the Society are:

• To promote, enhance and safeguard the interests of the Rossdale community;

• To provide, conduct and engage in social, recreational, educational and cultural opportunities and activities for Rossdale residents and guests of the community to foster an attitude of community endeavour, whether within or without the boundaries of Rossdale;

• To purchase and/or display works of art throughout the Rossdale community and in immediately adjacent areas;

• To preserve and enhance historical resources located within Rossdale;

• To enhance the green spaces located within Rossdale:

• To lease and manage the Rossdale Hall;

• To advocate with, and make representations to, government and governmental authorities on matters of interest to, or having impact upon, the Rossdale community ( either alone or in common with other communities);

• To provide financial and other support and assistance to other non profit entities having like or compatible objects or for purposes deemed by the directors of the Rossdale Community League to be of immediate or potential benefit to the Rossdale community;

• To solicit, receive, acquire and hold donations, gifts and testamentary gifts and donations for application towards the objects of the Rossdale Community League;

• To engage in any other activity for the purposes of furthering, or ancillary to, the aforesaid objects or for the raising of funds therefor or which is otherwise deemed by the Directors of the Rossdale Community League to be of benefit to the Rossdale community;
