As promised, here is the info on our winter 2017 session. Options are 1x a week, 2x a week, or drop in. Hope to see you all this Monday for our last class of 2016. But if not, happy holidays to you!
Dates: Mondays, Jan 9 to April 3rd (no class on Feb 20)
Location: Rossdale Community hall
Cost: $15 drop-in, $135 for full session (12 classes)
Please make cheques out to the Rossdale Community League. Cash and etransfer also accepted.
*Potential Thursday Class- 7pm-8:15pm running the same weeks as the Monday class. This class will run if we get 10 people registered. Please indicate if you'd prefer to come on Thursdays instead of Mondays, or both (at a discount rate that I will need to confirm with the league). If both classes run, participants will be able to attend either class dpened on their schedule..
What to bring: A yoga mat, clothing that is easy to move in, water and a blanket/yoga props if you want them (foam blocks and straps provided)
Description: These classes combine movement sequences and postures designed to develop stamina, strength, and mobility with deep yin yoga style stretches that release chronic tension and relax the body. A perfect combination to feel refreshed and rejuvenated. Classes are designed for all levels of experience, including people who have never practiced yoga before and those with injuries. Each class ends with a 10 minute relaxation period to sooth both body and mind.
