Upcoming Neighbourhood Watch Training Session

For those community leagues with, or interested in starting, an Edmonton Neighbourhood Watch program,  ENW (Edmonton Neighbour Watch) is holding a Representative/Members training session at the end of September.  Details below.

 

Dear Community Representatives, Affiliates, Ambassadors, Community Members:

You are invited to attend the Neighbourhood Watch training session being held:

 

Date:  Saturday, September 22, 2018

Time: 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

 

Edmonton Police Service

Free Parking

 

A light breakfast, beverages and lunch will be provided

 

RSVPs are required on or before September 13th.  Please respond at your earliest.

 

This session we include presentations from ENW, EPS and Community Members.  

 

There will be a supply of the all the current and program resources available from ENW, EPS and the City of Edmonton to assist you start promoting the program and several other relevant materials. We are currently exploring new programs which is exciting and will notify everyone upon implementation.

 

Our new Program Director, Don Lehman will be introduced at the training.  

 

Starting with this session, ENW will be providing certificates for those that take the training and has completed a Membership Application.  This is important as this will assist you representing your neighbourhood with the knowledge that you will gain through this training.

 

Please also advise whether you are a current member. If you are not certain, please contact the office and we will very happy to assist.

ENW Community Representatives, Ambassadors, Community Groups who have not yet completed a Membership Form you may do so before the training and forward to admin@enwatch.ca.  Refer to the attachment.  ENW appreciates your commitment to lead an official Neighbourhood Watch program within your community in Crime Prevention

 

We will be open to answering questions that will assist in the development of your Neighbourhood Watch in your community.

 

This training is provided by Edmonton Neighbourhood Watch and the Edmonton Police Service.

 

*All attendees will receive a program resource book or binder.
