Rossdale News for May 2025

Save the date.

It's AGM time again! The Rossdale Community League annual general meeting will be held on the evening of June 26, 7:00 pm at our community hall (Little Flower School).

Coyote safety

Coyote pups are starting to leave their dens, there are more of them and their mothers are more aggressive. The City advises anyone who encounters a coyote to make loud noises by yelling or clapping your hands, and to throw rocks or sticks to scare it away. Report any aggressive encounters to 311, keep dogs on a leash, and remove any food that may entice them onto your property.

Keep your property safe

A friendly reminder to ensure your home and vehicle doors are securely locked. As the weather warms, “thefts of opportunity” increase.

Free baseball tickets

The Riverhawks have once again offered free tickets to Rossdale residents for home games. Present your ID at the will call to receive your tickets.

Rossdale road closure

On June 4th, Rossdale road at 96 avenue will be closed from 12:30-2:30 pm for a school event at Remax field. Local traffic will be affected.
